Recruit the dogs. Walk the dogs. Try to get the good lead before anyone else does.

Over four rounds you bid for dogs to bring into your kennel, then take them out on walks across the park, picking up whatever is on the route. Different dogs want different things — some are only worth having if you can meet their needs — and the walking phase is a point-to-point race where the best paths go early.

It sits in the middle weight: enough decisions to keep experienced players engaged, gentle enough to teach to a family. The art is the reason most people pick the box up, and the game underneath holds it.
