Wooden Oceania Animals: Magpie
Six weeks a year this bird is a menace. The other forty-six it is the best singer in the country.
The Australian magpie has a carolling song most people can pick out of a dawn chorus and a swooping season most people can pick out of a scar. It is also one of the few birds that reliably recognises individual human faces, which is either charming or ominous depending on whether it likes you.
Cut in wood as part of Let's Play Games' Oceania Animals range - thicker pieces than cardboard, and a finished object rather than something to break up. Series 2.
Please note: Piece count and finished dimensions to be confirmed against the packaging on arrival.
Perfect for: Anyone who has cable-tied spikes to a bicycle helmet in September.
