Toy Battle

Toy Battle is a two-player area control game where the armies are the things that were already under your bed — plastic soldiers, dinosaurs, robots, cowboys. You are fighting over a bedroom floor rendered as a board, and the whole production leans into the conceit rather than treating it as a coat of paint.

Play is tight and quick: deploy, capture zones, and manage a hand that never quite has the piece you need. Because it is strictly two-player the design does not have to hedge, and the result is a duel that runs about twenty minutes and rewards reading what your opponent has left. Approachable enough for a child, sharp enough that an adult cannot coast.

Perfect for: Anyone who has ever lined up toys on a carpet and assigned them nationalities.
