A deliberately mixed set. There's a cast metal spiral maze, where a pin has to be threaded out through a groove that keeps doubling back on itself. There's a cube in navy and natural beech that comes apart into interlocking blocks. And there's a two-tone gold and silver disc that rotates against itself until, eventually, it lets go.

The mixture is the point. Metal puzzles are solved by feel — you can't see the mechanism, so you work by resistance and the small sounds it makes. Wooden burrs are the opposite, entirely visual, solved by working out which single piece is holding all the others in place. Whichever of those you happen to be good at, the other one in this box will catch you out.
