Take Time
Twelve cards, a clock, and no talking your way out of it.
A co-operative puzzle from Libellud, designed by Alexi Piovesan and Julien Prothère. You win together or you lose together, which is stated plainly in the rules and turns out to be the entire emotional range of the thing.
You place twelve cards face down around a clock, following whatever rules the current Test demands of you. There are forty Tests in the box, worked through across a series of games, so it escalates like a campaign without the components changing underneath you. Half an hour a sitting, and the difficulty is entirely in the constraint rather than in the rules.
Perfect for: Pairs and small groups who would rather be set one specific problem than a broad one.
