Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza card game
Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza
The game that will make you slap your best friend's hand at full force and feel completely justified about it.
Sounds easy. It isn't.
Here's the thing about Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza. You'll explain the rules in about 45 seconds. Everyone will nod and think it sounds easy. Then the cards start flipping, the chanting begins, and within two minutes someone will slap at the wrong moment, someone will shout "GOAT" when they should have said "CHEESE", and the table will dissolve into genuine chaos.
That's the whole point. And it's brilliant.
How it works
Players take turns flipping cards into a central pile while chanting the sequence — Taco, Cat, Goat, Cheese, Pizza — over and over. When the word you say matches the card you flip, everyone races to slap the pile. Last one to slap takes all the cards. Get rid of all your cards first and you win. Simple. Except your brain will betray you constantly, the rhythm will lull you into false confidence, and the special action cards — Gorilla, Groundhog, Narwhal — will require you to pound your chest or mime a horn on your head before slapping, at which point all dignity leaves the room permanently.
Why it belongs in every game collection
This is the game you pull out when you need everyone laughing within five minutes. It works at a kids' party, a family Christmas, a mates night, or as a warm-up before something heavier. It fits in your bag. It costs next to nothing. And it will absolutely end friendships, at least temporarily.
Genuinely one of the best gateway games ever made.
