One Card Dungeon

The entire dungeon is one card. The difficulty is not.

A solo dungeon crawl from Alley Cat Games played on a single card, which sounds like a gimmick until you sit down with it. Twelve increasingly unpleasant levels stand between you and the Sceptre of M'Guf-yn, and the whole apparatus — dungeon, character, monsters — occupies less space than a paperback.

Each turn you roll three dice and assign one each to Movement, Attack and Defence. Whatever you pour into attacking is not there to keep you alive, and the dice rarely offer a comfortable split. That single decision, repeated twelve levels deep, is the entire game, and it turns out to be enough.

Perfect for: Anyone who has packed a board game for a trip, not played it once, and would like to stop doing that to themselves.
