Twenty-five chunky pieces that come together into a 46 x 46cm map of habitats, each one packed with the animals that live there. Flamingo, sloth, otter - the spotting list is long enough that the puzzle keeps being useful after it is finished, which is more than you can say for most of the category.

Petit Collage have built in a nice bit of scaffolding: the habitats have distinctly coloured backgrounds, so a younger child can match pieces by colour block before they are ready to work from the picture. That means the same puzzle works at three and still works at five, on different terms. Made with 75% recycled materials and FSC paper printed with vegetable inks.
