Metal Earth: Tool Kit

The three tools every Metal Earth instruction sheet quietly assumes you already own.

Metal Earth kits arrive as flat etched steel sheets, and about ten minutes into the first one most people reach the same conclusion: fingernails are not the tool for this job. The tabs are a couple of millimetres wide and they need to be bent, twisted and pulled tight. This is the official three-piece set for doing exactly that.

Clipper — cuts pieces cleanly off the steel sheet, so you stop bending each part back and forth until it fatigues free.
Flat nose pliers — hold parts securely and pull tabs tight when you twist a connection closed.
Needle nose pliers — same job, plus bending and twisting in the places the flat nose simply will not reach.

It is the difference between a model that looks assembled and one that looks finished. Works with every kit in the Metal Earth range, from the small single-sheet builds to the Premium series.
