Italy has twenty wine regions and produces more wine than any other country on earth, which makes it either the ideal subject for an illustrated map or a slightly overwhelming one depending on how the evening is going. Barolo in the north-west, Chianti through the middle, Etna on a volcano at the bottom. The illustrated map format gives every region its own small drawn identity rather than a block of colour and a label.
