Ligretto Kids

Ligretto for players who cannot read numbers yet, and who are quicker than you.

Same simultaneous, everybody-at-once game, rebuilt for younger children. The numbers are gone — the cards carry animals instead: elephant, tiger, parrot, monkey and crocodile, in five colours.

Turn over your top card and put it on a centre pile if the animal matches, or the colour matches, or both. That single rule is the whole game, and children pick it up in about thirty seconds.

Ten minutes, two to five players, ages five and up.

Perfect for: Early-school children and mixed-age tables where the adults need a handicap.
