Klask 4 Player
Air hockey, foosball and magnetism, resolved in about ten minutes and considerably more noise than expected.
The four-player version of the Danish dexterity game that has quietly taken over pubs and staffrooms. A wooden board, magnetic strikers controlled from underneath, and three small white biscuits in the middle that you are trying not to attract. Score by putting the ball in an opponent's hole, or watch them lose a point by dropping their own striker in, or by picking up two biscuits.
Going from two players to four changes it completely — the board becomes a scramble rather than a duel, and defending your own hole while anyone can shoot at it is a different skill entirely. Games last a couple of minutes; a session lasts as long as somebody keeps saying one more. The magnets do the work, so there is nothing to learn.
Perfect for: the corner of a party where four people have quietly stopped talking to anyone else.
