Dragons are the reason laser-cut steel exists as a hobby material. Scales, membranous wings, a spined tail and a lot of compound curves are miserable to mould and beautiful to etch, and the ICONX treatment gives this one the surface detail the standard kits cannot fit on a smaller sheet. It comes in blue rather than bare metal, which is unusual for the range and suits the subject.

This is one of the more involved builds here. The wing membranes have to be curved rather than folded, the tail is a long run of linked segments, and the neck sets the pose for the whole model so it is worth thinking about before you commit. Laser-cut steel, tab-and-slot, no glue or paint. Tweezers and needle-nose pliers essential.
