Fight 5
Five lanes, five clashes, fifteen minutes, and a surprising amount of shouting.
Each player takes a deck built around an element — air, water, fire, earth or light — and fights for control of five lanes of cards. Every lane is settled by a clash, a tug-of-war won by whoever puts up the bigger number, and five clashes make a Bout. That is the whole game, and it moves.
It comes from Neon Knight Games, Chip Theory's smaller imprint, designed by Aaron Hein and Manny Trembley. The elemental decks play differently enough that swapping is worth doing, and at a quarter of an hour it fits neatly into the gap where a proper game will not.
Perfect for: The last game of the night, or the first one while you wait for the fourth player to find a park.
