One of eight reference decks Wizards of the Coast produced for the 2024 edition of the rules, this one covering cantrips and first-level spells across 105 cards. Each card carries the spell's full text, so the thing you need mid-turn is in your hand rather than four hundred pages away underneath somebody's elbow.

The practical effect at a table is that the game stops pausing. Low-level spells are the ones cast most often and checked least carefully, which is how a party ends up three sessions deep with a house rule nobody agreed to. Deal these out at character creation and that particular argument never starts.

Perfect for: The player who has been casting Guidance slightly wrong for years, and everyone at the table who has quietly let them.
