Confusing Lands
Two players, two floating landscapes, and a great many small decisions about deer.
A two-player card game in which you each build your own wacky floating world — majestic mountains, winding rivers, and the occasional extremely pleased-looking deer. Cards carry symbols and scoring conditions, and you take turns laying them out to build something that scores well and looks lovely. Once both players have played their hand, everyone tallies points against a shared scoring condition plus whatever else they've built into their own landscape.
Small box, quick to learn, and a proper duel underneath the charm — the puzzle is figuring out which combination of symbols nobody else is going to beat you to.
