Axolotls are neotenic salamanders that never metamorphose, can regrow limbs and most of a spinal cord, and are critically endangered in the single lake system they come from. They also appear to be permanently smiling, which is an accident of jaw structure and the entire reason they became an internet fixture. Yell have leaned into the mouth: every figure in this set is chomping onto an edge, a cable, a pen, whatever is nearby.

Blind box, one figure per box. This set runs to eight rather than the usual ten. Small parts, so keep it away from anything that also chomps.
