A co-operative game about filing things, which is considerably more stressful than it sounds.

Adapted from the video game of the same name, and it has translated almost suspiciously well. Your team runs a warehouse. Tiles arrive showing products — abstract little symbols that look vaguely like a fish, or a hat, or something nobody can agree on — and you have to decide where each one goes. Then you turn it face down, and you're not allowed to look at it again.

The entire game is the argument you have while placing each tile. "Put it with the round ones." "It's not round, it's a wheel, that goes with transport." Whatever story you tell each other is the only index this warehouse has. Then comes the ending: a five-minute scramble to match 35 face-down tiles against a stack of customer orders, and the immediate discovery of exactly how good your filing system was. It's a memory game where the memory being tested is collective, and largely constructed out of bad jokes.

Perfect for: Households that already share a system for where things live in the kitchen, and would quite like to find out whether it is in fact a system.

2–6 players | 30 minutes | Age 8+
