A hundred and forty cards, each one a film described in a ladder of clues that starts vague and ends embarrassingly obvious. Teams guess as early as they dare, because the points are in getting there before the card gives it away entirely. The range runs G-rated to R, animated to action, mystery to comedy, so nobody's particular corner of cinema is left out.

What makes it work better than a straight quiz is the escalation. Guess on clue one and you look extraordinary; guess on clue five and the whole table saw it coming two clues ago.
