UNO: Flip

You thought you knew UNO. You do not know UNO.

UNO Flip takes the classic matching card game and adds a single mechanic that changes everything: a double-sided deck with a Light Side and a Dark Side. You start on the Light Side — familiar enough, a little gentler, the UNO you remember. Then someone plays a FLIP card.

What happens when you flip

When the FLIP card is played, everything flips. Your hand, the draw pile, the discard pile — all of it turns over to reveal the Dark Side. And the Dark Side is exactly what it sounds like. Draw Five instead of Draw Two. Skip Everyone instead of Skip. Wild Draw Colour, which makes someone keep drawing until they pull a specific colour. The penalties are brutal, the chaos is real, and the person who just played the FLIP card is probably wearing a very satisfied expression. Play swaps back to the Light Side whenever another FLIP card hits the table, so the whole game oscillates between manageable chaos and absolute mayhem.
