The Christmas Library 1000 Piece Puzzle
A library, at Christmas. Nobody is proposing a downside here.
Two reliably good things put in the same room: shelves of books and the whole apparatus of Christmas. It is a warm, cluttered, deliberately over-decorated sort of subject, and clutter is exactly what you want in a puzzle, because it means detail distributed right across the sheet instead of one interesting bit and a great deal of sky. Worth noting it is a seasonal print, and Ravensburger Christmas titles have a habit of quietly disappearing once December has been and gone.
Every Ravensburger piece is individually cut, so no two are the same shape and a piece that looks like it fits generally does. Their Softclick fit holds placed sections together when you shift them, which is the difference between moving a puzzle and starting it again. Finished size is 70 by 50 centimetres. The busier passages will take longer than the piece count suggests, which is rather the point of buying it.
Perfect for: The person who starts a puzzle on Boxing Day specifically so they have a reason to stop talking to everyone.
