SmartGames Grabbit
A memory game where forgetting has consequences underground.
Rabbits hop about a vegetable garden, lifting leaves as they go and briefly showing you what is planted where. Then the leaf goes back down and you are expected to have been paying attention. Four vegetables to collect, a board full of things you half-remember, and a set of burrowing animals waiting for you to guess wrong.
The rules take under two minutes and the whole thing runs about ten, which makes it one of very few genuinely four-year-old-appropriate games an adult can lose fairly. The twist is that the underground animals take your vegetables back when you misremember, so a poor memory does not merely slow you down, it actively undoes work already done. Short, bright and slightly ruthless.
Perfect for: anyone who has confidently told a four-year-old they have an excellent memory, in front of witnesses.
