Everyone has a lyric they have been getting wrong since they were fourteen and will defend under oath. This is a whole box of them - popular songs written out as the words people genuinely hear, which are frequently more coherent than the real ones. Two chickens to paralyse. It is Eddie Money, and you will not convince anybody otherwise for a good thirty seconds.

Teams read the mangled lyric aloud and race to name the song, which sounds trivial and is not: hearing it wrong on purpose scrambles the tune in your head and the answer sits just out of reach. The companion to Poorly Explained Movies and cut from the same cloth, down to the small giftable box. Best played by people of roughly the same vintage, so the references land.

Perfect for: The person in your life who has been singing the wrong words for twenty years and is not going to stop now.
