Michael Storrings Snowfall Over New York City 1000 Piece Puzzle

The Brooklyn Bridge, mid-snowfall, from the angle everybody wants it.

Storrings paints Brooklyn Bridge Park at night with the snow coming down and Manhattan lit up behind. He does this sort of thing repeatedly and well - the lights read as warm points rather than smudges, and the snow is painted into the scene rather than dusted over the top of it. Of everything Galison print, this is the one that most obviously wants to be wrapped and given.

A thousand ribbon-cut pieces at 68.5 x 51cm, with the full image on an insert in the box. The night sky is the wall: a wide field of dark blue flecked with snow that looks like it ought to be sortable and is not. Do the bridge cables and the lit windows first, and leave the sky as a problem for the third evening.
