Metal Earth: Tiger Tank

Only about thirteen hundred Tiger Is were ever built, which is nothing, and yet it dominates the popular memory of armoured warfare entirely out of proportion to its numbers. The reason is the gun and the frontal armour, and the fact that Allied crews reported every German tank they saw as a Tiger. It was also mechanically fragile, appallingly expensive and drank fuel at a rate that helped lose the war it was built to win.

Tanks make good Metal Earth subjects because the flat armour plates suit sheet steel perfectly. Laser-cut stainless steel, tab-and-slot assembly, no glue or paint.
