Magical Athlete
A race where every single competitor is cheating in a different way.
Draft a stable of absurd racers — the Centaur, the Egg, the Rocket Scientist among them — each with an ability that breaks the rules in its own specific direction. The Egg might roll backwards on purpose. The Rocket Scientist might blow up half the field. Nobody's racing fair, and that's exactly the point.
Run four races with your drafted roster, swapping which racer you're backing between legs, and watch as abilities collide in ways nobody could have planned for. It's part strategy, part chaos, and entirely the kind of game where the room ends up shouting at an egg.
A cult Japanese classic reissued by CMYK Games with new artwork and fresh racer powers written by Richard Garfield — yes, the Magic: The Gathering guy — alongside original designer Takashi Ishida.
