Koi River 1000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzle
Koi are just carp with better public relations, and it has worked completely.
Ornamental koi were bred from common carp by rice farmers in Niigata in the 1820s, essentially as a side project. They now sell for more than cars, live for decades, and are the single most reliable subject in the entire puzzle market. Orange, white and black on dark water, over and over.
The reason it sells is also the reason it is hard: the fish give you clear shapes to build, and then the water between them is a long, low-contrast stretch with almost nothing to hold onto. Clementoni's HQ Compact line, in the smaller box format.
Perfect for: Anyone who finds moving water genuinely calming and has not yet been tested on this.
