A 1959 Cadillac ambulance with a great deal of unexplained equipment bolted to the roof.

The Ecto-1 is a Cadillac Miller-Meteor, a combination hearse and ambulance conversion of which only a few hundred were ever built. The film's version was bought as a wreck, painted white, and loaded with a roof rack of props that nobody has ever satisfactorily identified. The result is one of the very few film cars that is instantly recognisable from the roof down rather than the grille up.

The roof gear is the whole reason to build this one, and it is where most of the parts are. ICONX means bigger sheets and a longer build than the standard range, closer to an evening than an hour. Laser-cut stainless steel, tab-and-slot assembly, no glue or paint. Tweezers and pliers essential for the finer roof detail.
