The first Batmobile that looked like it could actually hurt something by driving at it.

Nolan's production team built four working Tumblers rather than relying on effects, and they genuinely drove: around 500 horsepower, capable of sixty in under six seconds, and steered by a driver lying prone in the middle. The brief was reportedly a cross between a Lamborghini and a Humvee, and the result threw out sixty years of sleek fins in favour of something that reads as military hardware.

All flat angled plate, which is exactly what sheet steel is good at, and one of the better looking ICONX builds in bare metal. The premium line means larger sheets and a longer session than a standard kit. Laser-cut stainless steel, tab-and-slot assembly, no glue or paint. The suspension and the enormous rear wheels are the fiddly part. Tweezers essential.

Perfect for: Anyone who maintains the trilogy peaked with the second one, and is right.
