Hues and Cues
Say 'avocado'. Watch four people point at four different greens.
Hues and Cues hands you a board of 480 colours and a devious one-word task: get your teammates to land on your exact shade using only a single clue word (or two, if you're feeling generous). Say "sky" and someone will confidently point at navy. Say "ripe banana" and the guesses scatter from custard to mustard. It's a masterclass in how differently we all actually see colour, and it turns into an argument almost instantly.
Each round, the clue-giver picks a hidden colour and gives a clue. Everyone else places a peg on the board where they think that colour lives, then the reveal happens — the closer your guess, the more points you score, and the clue-giver scores too if guesses land close by. Rotate the clue-giver and go again.
It plays fast, scales up to a full table of ten, and rewards nothing but a decent vocabulary and a willingness to argue about whether that's teal or turquoise.
