The Holiday Resort series returns to the same location title by title, and this one takes on the pool: the part of any resort where the most human behaviour happens and the fewest people are wearing enough clothing to be dignified about it. Densely illustrated scenes like this reward the long look, which is the entire reason the format works as a puzzle rather than as a poster.

Water is the honest difficulty here. Illustrated water carries more variation than photographic water, so it is nowhere near as punishing as a photographic ocean, but a large pool surface is still the passage where progress slows. Everything around it should come together quickly. Ravensburger cut every piece individually, the Softclick fit holds finished sections together when shifted, and the completed puzzle measures 70 by 50 centimetres.
