Grab & Game: That Escalated Quickly
Ranking absurd things in order, and discovering your friends' internal scales are nothing like yours.
A co-operative party game in a small box. Cards describe things of wildly varying awfulness or scale, and the table has to lay them out in the correct order without anyone saying what number they are holding. Everyone wins together or nobody does, which removes the competitive edge and replaces it with a lot of arguing about whether a wasp in the car is worse than losing your keys.
Fifteen minutes, scales to eight, and it teaches in about twenty seconds. The Grab & Game line is Exploding Kittens' small-format range, priced accordingly — this is the one to have in a bag rather than on the shelf.
Perfect for: the pub table that has run out of conversation but is not ready to go home.
2–8 players | About 15 minutes | Age 10+
