General Knowledge Quiz
A hundred and forty questions and no board, which is the correct amount of board.
Games Room is Ridley's range of small hard-backed boxes in bold geometric print, and they are designed to be left out on a table rather than shelved. This is the general knowledge one: sport, politics, geography and whatever else fell in, multiple choice, no setup at all. Open the lid, take a card, ask the question.
The format is the appeal. There is no scoring track, no turn order and nothing to lose under the sofa - it is a box of cards that turns any fifteen minutes into a quiz and then stops when everybody has had enough. It works at a dinner table, in a car, and as the thing you reach for when a board game would be too much commitment.
Perfect for: The dinner guest who says they are terrible at trivia and then answers everything.
