Flamecraft
Dragons running artisan workshops. Quietly lovely.
Flamecraft is a cosy engine-builder where you send friendly dragons into shops to craft goods and earn favour with the town. Each turn you visit a shop, trigger its dragon's ability, and slowly build a chain of bonuses that all click together by the final round. Warm artwork, gentle strategy, and not a shred of nastiness anywhere.
There's real depth here — timing your visits, reading which shops your opponents need, and building toward combos — but it never feels punishing. It's the feel-good game for a table that wants to relax rather than fight. Enormously charming, and a gateway into engine-building for people who find heavier games off-putting.
