Even the plants you never got round to become compost.
Flora and fauna shaped by thousands of years of evolution and adaptation, assembled into symbiotic ecosystems on your own patch of table. Maxime Tardif designed it for Inside Up Games, and the box is close to encyclopedic — the sheer number of cards is what keeps it in rotation rather than any one clever trick.
It is a tableau builder in which you put together a self-supporting engine of growth, expansion and supply, and nothing goes to waste: plants you never manage to play turn into compost that feeds later growth. The rule that keeps everybody involved is that the action you choose affects every player, not only you, so a turn taken for your own benefit is also a turn handed to the person opposite. The first player to complete their tableau ends the game, and the most points takes it.
Perfect for: People who cannot walk past a nature documentary, and who like their engines quiet.
