Cozy Cat Cafe

A café staffed entirely by cats, run about as well as you would expect.

You start with an empty café and fill it — adopting cats, buying furniture and inviting customers through the door — competing with the other cafés to land the big spenders first. Designed by Sam and Shahin Rostami and published by Polyra. Ambience is the currency the whole thing runs on.

Three rounds of nine turns, and on each turn you take exactly one of three actions: adopt a cat, which costs cookies but lets you play cat cards; buy furniture, which costs coins; or invite customers, which brings in both resources and points. Cat abilities activate to shake things up, and the pleasure is in the combos — the right cat with the right furniture transforming the café in a single turn. Sixteen goal tiles are in play each game, so the bonuses you are chasing change every time you sit down.

Perfect for: Anyone who has rearranged their own furniture twice in one week and counted it as productivity.
