Mother Hen has lost forty chicks and everybody at the table is helping her find them. Spin, move the hen to the next matching space, and collect the chicks you pass. If all forty make it back to the coop before the hen reaches the end, everyone wins together. There is no elimination and nobody is out.

The counting is the point and it is done invisibly: children count the spaces the hen moves and the chicks they collect, over and over, without ever being told they are practising anything. It has won five awards including an Oppenheim Platinum, which for a game this simple tells you the mechanics are doing more work than they appear to. This is the deluxe edition.
