Stack a 3×3 grid of scheming characters into one glorious combo.

You are hereby invited to His Majesty's grand Combo Party! Recruit characters to your personal tableau, making sure to take note of the unique abilities and scoring conditions each one offers.

Players take turns buying cards from either the Village or the Castle — depending on where the Messenger pawn is — and placing them in their tableau, with each card after the first placed orthogonally to at least one other. The grid fills, the combos compound, and the last few placements decide everything.
