Azul Kids: My Little Mosaic Workshop

Azul, sized for someone who is five.

Young artists get their own workbench and fill it with tiles drawn from the supply bowls, building a mosaic a piece at a time. It keeps what makes Azul lovely — the weight of the tiles, the colours, the small satisfaction of a board filling up — and takes out the scoring maths that puts it out of reach for little kids.

In the box: 120 mosaic pieces, a cloth draw bag, six mosaic boards, a central supply hub and the rules.

Quietly good at pattern recognition and planning a move ahead, though nobody playing it will notice that.
