3x3 Unequal Cube
A Rubik's cube where none of the pieces are the same size, which breaks your brain in an entirely new way.
Mechanically it is a standard 3x3, and if you can solve a normal cube you already know every move you need. What's changed is the shape: each layer is cut to a different thickness, so a scrambled cube doesn't look like a cube at all — it looks like a small architectural disaster — and you're solving for form rather than colour.
That turns out to be much harder than it sounds, because the visual cues you rely on without noticing are all gone. The mechanism is a modern one with proper corner cutting and anti-pop internals, so it turns like a speed cube rather than fighting you. Distributed by Cayro, manufactured to the YongJun design.
Perfect for: Anyone who solves a standard cube in under two minutes and has started to find it relaxing rather than interesting.
